Where do we go when we run?

the bike path along the waterfront,

repeated loops around a track,

a connector trail that doesn’t show up on any map,

the long way home because the sun is setting and you have nowhere else to be.

But where do you really go?

inward? across?

upwards or downwards?

who, what or where is it that propels you forward?

do you know?

if not,

do you want to?

Last miles to somewhere is an upcoming video project documenting the spiritual lives of runners from across the world.

We are interested in telling stories about running as ritual, meditation, contemplation, transcendence, self-forgetting and forgiving, cultural practice and psychospiritual modality.

We are currently seeking collaborators and athletes. To get involved, reach out here.
